Our project portfolio includes office fit-outs (Twitter Dubai, Samsung), commercial malls, healthcare facilities (Mediclinic), and government buildings (Dubai Police).
DEWA Approvals & Compliance
DEWA (Dubai Electricity & Water Authority) approval is required for any electrical work beyond minor maintenance in Dubai — this includes new connections, meter upgrades, power enhancements, fit-outs, or new construction. It is mandatory by law. Only a DEWA-approved contractor like Ampcore can submit and process these approvals on your behalf.
Approval timelines vary depending on the type and complexity of the job. Straightforward meter or power upgrades typically take 2–4 weeks once all documents are submitted. New construction and large commercial fit-outs may require 4–8 weeks as they involve drawing approvals and multiple inspection stages. We manage the entire process and keep you updated at each step.
Yes. We regularly handle Tarif (power upgrade) applications. This involves assessing your current electrical load, preparing the required documentation and drawings, submitting the application to DEWA, coordinating inspections, and completing the upgrading of your internal MSB or LV panel. Contact us with your premises details for a free load assessment.
Services & Maintenance
An AMC is an ongoing service agreement where Ampcore provides scheduled preventive maintenance visits (typically quarterly or biannually) plus priority response for breakdowns throughout the year. It covers inspections of your distribution boards, wiring, lighting, sockets, earthing systems, and any other electrical equipment included in the contract scope. AMCs help avoid unexpected failures, ensure compliance, and often reduce reactive maintenance costs significantly.
Yes. We offer emergency support for critical electrical faults such as tripped main breakers, power outages, damaged distribution boards, and safety hazards. AMC clients receive priority response. To report an emergency, call +971 4 399 3559 or WhatsApp +971 50 696 2354.
Yes. We supply and install AC and DC EV charging points for residential, commercial, and fleet applications. Installation includes cable routing, dedicated circuit protection, and any DEWA approvals required. We advise on charger specifications suited to your vehicle and premises.
Thermal imaging (infrared inspection) uses a FLIR camera to detect heat anomalies in electrical panels, breakers, cables and connections invisible to the naked eye. Overheating components are a leading cause of electrical fires and unexpected outages. The inspection is non-intrusive and can be done without switching off power. We provide a full report with images and recommended actions — particularly recommended annually for commercial buildings.
Pricing & Quotes
The easiest way is to fill in our contact form or call/WhatsApp us. For straightforward tasks we can estimate over the phone; for fit-outs and larger projects, one of our engineers will arrange a free site visit before issuing a detailed, itemised quotation.
Yes, initial site visits for quotation purposes within Dubai are free of charge. Our quotations break down materials, labour, and any third-party costs such as DEWA application fees separately — no hidden costs.
Yes. All installations carry a workmanship warranty, details of which are specified in the contract. Major fit-out projects typically carry a one-year workmanship warranty.
